On Monday my kids left for Denver to spend Thanksgiving with their sister, Stacy. Jorge & I chose not to go, mainly because we had no one to watch all the pet
s, so although we'll be home alone on the holiday, Stacy is sure excited to have everyone visit her. Caleb and I made a card that I stuck in Allison's suitcase, with instructions "Open During Thanksgiving Dinner".

Caleb and I made a card that I stuck in Allison's suitcase, with instructions "Open During Thanksgiving Dinner".The feathers on this little turkey look more like fingernails! I used the printer to make a copy of Caleb's hand & traced it to make the turkey body.
On the back you can see Caleb's little hand. The card reads: "Caleb is thankful for...parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, Jesus, food" (each one written on a finger). "Ps. 136:1 'O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good'. What are you thankful for?"
