Caleb was a little pirate for Halloween. He made a great pirate, except he refused to wear the pirate hat or even the scarf. Caleb hates hats which is kind of funny because his dad always loved hats and was never caught without wearing a baseball cap.
I thoroughly enjoyed making Caleb's costume. As my kids were growing up I made most of their costumes. The most memorable for me were:
David as the Riddler (from Batman)--I made him lime green pajamas with a big black question mark on the front.
Allison as Snow White--she had such white skin and dark hair and made a perfect Snow White.
And for David's first Halloween, I made him a little mouse costume. Six years later, Allison wore the same costume. I still have it somewhere in the garage, and I meant to search for it and dress Caleb in it. Hope I come across it before he outgrows it.
