Here We Go

By reading the title of this blog site, you would think I have more than one grandchild. Actually, at this time, I have only one! So, obviously I'm hoping and planning to have many more!

I always am so full of ideas and thought this blog would be a great way to categorize them so I can keep track of not only the actual idea, but also the memories of FUN times with my grandchildren. So, here we go with my first blog site and my first post.

Caleb is my 17 month old grandson and is he ever active! He's with me today as his Dad (my son) is working and his Mom is participating in the San Diego 3 day cancer walk. Unfortunately he currently has a bad cold and so is a little cranky today. To entertain him (and myself!), I've been going into the stack of Christmas presents in the garage--boxes from Amazon.com and Fisher Price--and opening different toys, letting him try them out and then putting them back so I can still stick them under the tree from Santa. He won't remember and the toys can still be a surprise for his parents. I'm teaching him to ride his Fisher Price Power Wheels fire truck so that when he legitimately gets it on Christmas morning, he'll be a pro at riding it.....and his parents will think him to be brilliant!
