Hanging out with Grandpa

It's Starting to Look Like Christmas!

Friday afternoon I started dragging out the Christmas decorations. First I boxed up the everyday 'nicknacks' and then I unpacked all the Santas and the Christmas balance toys. The problem with decorating for Christmas is the huge mess you create before everything gets all arranged and organized. The Christmas music playing in the background helped a lot! Knowing I was decorating for Caleb helped a lot too!

Funny how Caleb puts a completely different 'spin' on everything. He has changed our lives completely.

Yesterday, Jorge & I got down the rest of the Christmas boxes that were in storage in the garage. To keep Caleb occupied, we had him in his highchair, watching the Batman movie on Jorge's little garage tv. I just can't get over how that movie completely mesmerizes him!

Anyway, we got down the ice skating snowman and hooked it up in the backyard under the light-trimmed palm trees. This year we're excited to hang lights and stockings, holly and the tree, knowing how fun it will be for Caleb.
