Is it any wonder that Caleb's first word was 'key-cat' (kitty cat)? We had 9 kittens running around the house and when Caleb wasn't looking, they all loved to play with his toys!
Why am I surprised that my first grandson has such a short attention span? I think he takes after me! My background includes a B.A. in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and an M.A. in Special Education from San Jose State. I've taught school, been an educational consultant, diagnosed learning disabilities, and tutored. When we moved to Dana Point I took up sailing, bought a 28 foot Catalina, traded it in for a 36 foot named Manana, formed the Manana Girls sailing club, got my captain's license so I could charter, and then sold the boat. I then started teaching computers at Irvine Valley College and got my real estate license. I love to quilt and have quite a stash (fills a room) of fabric, along with an embroidery machine and a quilting machine.
I love being a Grandma and strive to be the very best I can be!
