Went to the Boat Parade. It was so cold and windy that not very many boats actually went out, but it was still lots of fun. We went with our friends, Bob & Hedi, who have a sailboat in the harbor---that makes the outing so much more fun. First we had drinks and appetizers in the warmth of their boat and then we bundled up and sat in deck chairs at the end of the dock, waving and shouting "Merry Christmas!" as the boats went by. I love Dana Point's boat parade---it is no where near as large as Newport Beach's but it is cute. I think Caleb was a little young for this year, but we'll probably take him next year.....and hopefully we'll have another little sailboat in the harbor again.
