We took Caleb to see the Christmas decorations at the Ritz Carlton....they have a huge Christmas tree and a big gingerbread house. Caleb loved running around the hotel, scampering across the highly polished marble

floors and climbing up and down the stairs. There was a 'story-time' going on in front of the fireplace, but of course he wouldn't sit still---but neither would the several other 15-20 month olds there.

Then we went to Augustine's---a Mexican restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. Here's Caleb looking at Grandpa's chile relleno....

When we got home we all watched "Frosty the Snowman" together; Caleb really liked it (i.e. he sat very quietly on our laps). Then up to bed, but first we stopped to check out the new lights that decorate his playhouse on the balcony.
I feel good....like we've started some Christmas traditions....
