Fun at Ralph's

I had Caleb all day...his dad dropped him off a little past 7. Usually when he's up and out of his house that early he takes an early nap....not today! I put him down for a nap around 11, but he just drank his bottle and then wanted to get up. I decided it was a good time to go to Ralph's....riding in the big car that's hooked to the front of the grocery cart usually entertains him and as a bonus, I get some shopping done. The problem with those carts, however, is that they are almost impossible to steer and maneuver in the store aisles. While rounding the corners it's likely I'll bring down a store display. Get a little close to the shelves and someone's little hands grab whatever happens to be there. Meet up with another cart and I have to do a little dance to get this giant car/cart around them. So here we go, up and down, up and down, all the store aisles. About ready to check out and I notice Caleb is missing a shoe. So, up and down, up and down, back through the store aisles (this time grabbing a bottle of chilled chardonay for when I get home) looking for the shoe. Found it by greeting cards.

And when we got home, the little guy took his nap and I enjoyed a glass of wine!
